I am the Vegan Ronin! I am American, but lived in Japan for a couple years, and now I am in London, England.
My goal is to inspire you with tasty food to create more tasty food. I like to work organically; guided by my taste buds, but will post recipes when I can.
Yes, everything is vegan. No, not everything is healthy. Maybe, you will enjoy some new meals!
Vegan is defined as a strict vegetarian. Vegans do not eat anything from animals. No meat, fish, dairy, eggs, or honey. You know what we do eat?
EVERYTHING ELSE WITHIN REACH! We are not starving. We do not live merely on tofu, nor rice, nor air. American Oreos? VEGAN! Non-American Skittles? VEGAN! Pasta Marinara? VEGAN! Kevin Nealon? VEGAN!
Actually, being vegan is super easy in most of today’s world. Whether you have a vegan friend coming over for dinner, you want to try Meatless Mondays, or eating healthier all together; I want to show you that we’re not all salad-eating hippies!
And checkout the “Omni Dinners” food tag on the right-side menu to get meal ideas when serving meat-eaters. It will be so flipping delicious they won’t even realize the death is missing!

Just happened across your blog and I’m glad I did.
I’ve recently moved to Japan for a study abroad exchange program and would love to eat vegan when I’m at home (when I’m out, I’ll eat anything, so I’m not true vegan) but 1.) I don’t fancy myself a good cook, and 2.) I’m in a whole different country, with a whole different language and writing system.
Still, I figured it could be done and lo and behold, I found you! So here’s an early thanks:

Justin! You can do it! Here is a little guide I made while there. It’s been put into a new format, but everything is there, you just have to click around! http://www.miejets.org/gb/index.php?title=Vegan_Living
Hey vegan ronin,
everything looks real tasty. Keep up the good work. Any tips on making a vegan turducken for this festive season.
Cheers
Alex
Never thought about it, but now I CAN’T stop thinking about it! Sounds like a challenge to me!
